**Dyno Day Today--408 WHP and 422 WTQ**
It's just amazing how far we've come.
I've done so many dynos with this car, and most of the time I've been blown away with how much power this engine could output. Attached is the progression of the JB Products and my baseline, which was completely stock except for magnaflow mufflers and secondary cats deleted. The results aren't really surprising since the people who have tried this map have ran the 1/4 in the 11s. I even tried this map when I ran the 1/4 and I was having trouble getting traction with drag radials! I was spinning in 3rd down the track. I talked to Terry afterwards and we were wondering if I could have gotten more power because there was a little blip at around 6500 RPM. We're wondering if I didn't let the map and fuel adapt enough, and maybe I had a little too much 91 in there. But, Terry is going to look at this beta map to see if there is anything in the program that is causing the blip. I guess this is the reason for the word "beta". ** EDIT** I have the pre 29.2 software and I have never connected the grey wire (fuel wire). I should have had the grey wire connected for this map and didn't know this. This was the reason for the blips since there wasn't an increase in fuel pressure. The fuel couldn't keep up with the boost. No matter what, it feels great to be in the 400 whp club! Enjoy the graph! Oh yah, what were my mods? It really is amazing how far the n54 community has come in so little time thanks to Shiv and Terry and a few others.
Good stuff no doubt!

I probably had about a gallon of 91 in the tank and put in the MS 109, which I think is 105 octane. So, I guess it was close to 103 ictane.

Nice peak numbers.
Tq seems to take quite a steep nosedive at 5k. From 422wtq down to 300wtq by redline. Quite a considerable drop. What's the reason behind that? All the others graphs seem to have the standard gradual taper. |

During the time of the JB2, it only increased boost and increased fuel. It was a great solution for those who wanted a bit extra without paying a crap load. Quote:
I think that the torque curve behaves the same as the others except between 4k and 5.2k RPM. It's between this range where it jumps to a different level. I would agree after 5k rpm. I've sent these graphs to Terry and I'm sure he's going to have a blast smoothing everything out up top. Quote:
An intake is a must to get the best times at the 1/4 mile with this map.
