What are the Factory Supplied Tools?
I purchased a used 2021 BMW 228i xDrive Gran Coupe. It did not come with any tools in the glovebox, under floor truck storage, or the side trunk storage.
Would someone let me know what tools come from the factory with the car? I am curious which tools I should probably carry in the car with me. Thanks! |

UK-supplied F40 has a reversible screwdriver and the wheel lock key, both behind the little hatch at the rear left of the boot. Not quite enough for a full service!

- a tire pump is always useful (should be a part of your "tire repair kit" that's in your trunk) - matching security socket for your wheel nuts (if you have them it should be in your trunk) - maybe a cheap bluetooth OBD scanner? For everything else you'd need service anyway if it breaks down "on the road". |

https://www.carnoisseur.com/products...ries-f40-rh218 This appears to be the only spacesaver that will fit over the M Sport front brakes on my M135iX. The complete kit (bagged wheel and accessory bag) fits snugly under the removable boot floor in my car. |

The only other option I know of is to get an ordinary spacesaver that will work with the rear wheels. If you have a front puncture, put the spare on a back wheel and move that one to the front. A lot of hassle but better than being stuck somewhere. You still need the accessories (jack, etc.) of course. |

I recently purchased a 2021 BMW 228xi Gran Coupe as a CPO vehicle...only a tow hook came in the left storage bin.
When I bought my 2011 328i sedanmE90), it had only the tow hood and one tool (I forget which one) so I looked for a used set of tools from E46 to supplement what was left out (I knew what was in a E46 kit from prior ownership) and I supplemented by purchasing: E46 jack crowbar/lugwrench + jack pad Crank to close sunroof manually wheel chocks tire inflator/sealant tire plug tool w/ plugs 12V tire pump I brought all of those things from the E90 to my CPO F44. Both the E90 and F44 have no room for even a space saver spare, so I know what to expect if a severe blowout happens...a day or more delay shopping for a tire in Nowheresville.
