Quality Check for 2.5 Months

Hey all

I ordered a bernina gray 530e Xdrive M Sport on January 15th. Car flew through most of the production stages on time at a suprising pace. Unfortunately it looks like the vehicle is stuck in QC purgatory and hasn't moved in over 2 months.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Dealer says they don't know why and that it is almost 'impossible' to find out. BMW hotline says it could be a wiring harness shortage.

This 'note' in the photo showed up this morning 03/16 as well which has me thinking what features are not going to be included...

You should have a VIN at this point. You can check the status of options here:

This whole process is in slow-motion for everyone. My car has been completed since 26 January, but is still sitting at the factory.

That was helpful thanks ! Doesn’t look like anything noticeable was taken off of my build.

Been sitting at Bremerhaven for 7 weeks now. Genius saying 2-3 month holds are “common” now.

That note is showing up in mine as well and it just rescheduled for production. I don’t think it has anything to do with the vehicle. Just a general notice, I was read this same wording when I called the genius number last week.

One month later... still waiting for a carrier assignment.

I'm told a lot of 5 series are waiting on a NAV screen.

As I just mentioned in anouther threat, then I'm today celebrating 1 year since I ordered a 545e in Denmark, and car apparently stuck somewhere in Germany with status code 180...
