Very nice! Did you have the windows tinted yourself, or did you buy the car like that?

these cars get a really bad rep. I have seen all reviews of the car and its always that its not a right bmw its just a move expensive mini or rubbish like that. honestly i have lived with the car for 2 months now and its is simply awesome, it deals with everything that can be thrown at it with ease. Sport: Comfort: ECO: each give three different versions of the car, eco mode is fantastic most of the time and sport when needed is absolutely amazing for day to day driving. in the real world know one needs more then 300hp and given the reality of the world its comes with everything anyone could ever want. my particular m235ix comes with every extra because in all honesty i went a bit mad when i seen the options sheet. the only thing in my opinion it is missing and would be nice is soft close doors purely because it having frameless doors makes the closing of the doors very clangy/bangy or something. i have only tinted the windows and wrapped the rear spoiler black to match the rear defuser and to break up the back a little. as for the future with it i want to bring it to get it polished and maintained for the safety of the paint work. |

What an idea, I will probably get the spoiler to wrap black also, though do not know if it will work as the car had a full ceramic coating applied to it. |

Hi Mimespes, can i ask where did you get the door dampeners and how did they go for ya cause the doors at the moment are the only thing that bothers me. purely because i dont like the idea of hurting or damaging the car and everytime the door closes it kind of irritates me. i am getting my car ceramic coated next week so hopefully will have some pictures and updates then.

Congrats and enjoy it - I have the same colour (but a 220i - minor buyers regret in not extending my budget to the 235i but I was stretched already).
That colour is called Snapper Rocks in Australasia and probably named after the beach where we used to holiday as a family (border of NSW and Queensland on the Gold Coast) - see here for the inspiration for the name What is that colour in Europe? The black grille looks much better than the silver spotted one we get with the M235i here (but I got the black in the 220i) I installed the same black rear spoiler as yours as well - I think it finishes the back end of the car shape well. Enjoy and keen to hear about the door dampeners. Also I’m new to the concept of wrapping - why would you wrap the spoiler? |

Hey mate, our hat color down here is named after Snapper Rocks in Australasia, a nod to our family holidays on the Gold Coast bordering NSW and Queensland. The beachy inspiration is pretty cool, right? Checked out the link for more insight: https://faroboardbags.com/collection...cts/fin-wallet
Totally feel you on the black grille preference. Looks way sleeker than the silver-spotted one we get with the M235i here. I went for the black in the 220i myself. Also, big shoutout for the matching black rear spoiler – really ties up the car's rear end nicely. Curious about those door dampeners, though. How's the experience been? Wrapping the spoiler is an interesting move; I'm new to that concept. Why go for it? I read your reason about BMW Europe not offering a black spoiler option, but is there more to it? Does it have any specific benefits, or is it more about the look? And yeah, it's cool having a unique color and car combo here. I haven't spotted another 235 since I got mine, though there was a second-hand one for sale a few months back. Wonder how many are cruising around here. Cheers! 🚗✨ |

cheers mate although i would have to disagree on the changing of the wheels. i feel for the range bmw offer oem, the ones on the car are by far the best and fill the arches nicely, but each to their own. |

I have the same wheels with the 50 year badges. I’d highly recommend the badges as they really set the car off.
