So, I drove a 6-speed 330i with sport package and loved it. Unfortunately, I cannot afford this car.

I asked if they had any 325i with 6-sp and sport package. They do not AND they don't have one comming in over the next two months.

I told them to call me when they did get one and I'd come test drive it.

This morning the guy calls me and asks what options I want. He says he'll have no problems selling it if I don't like it. So, I orderd blue exterior, black leatherette, sport and cold weather packages, and xenon. He insisted on the $75 satellite radio prewire -- said it make it easier for him to sell the car -- whatever.

So, I've got an order tracking number and when it comes in I'll go for a test drive -- crazy.

I wonder if I can do this with an M5?

I bought a 325I with sports package, premium package, 6 speed without test driving it first. I drove an automatic without sport package, which really did not excite me. Let me tell you how happy I am to have ordered sports pkg and 6 speed, I LOVE THE CAR. It handles so well and its very powerful. I would not spend the extra $$$ to get the 330. The 325 will not dissapoint.

I replaced a 2000 Audi A4 1.8 quattro, the BMW if a far better car. :rocks:

In the U.S. the 330 has more options standard than just the extra horses, so to say that a person shouldn't spend the wxtra bucks based on the power issue alone may be somewhat misleading. 330 also includes logic 7, standard power seats, chrome tipped exhaust, chrome grill, and IMHO I think the sport wheels (18") compliment the car better than the sport wheels on the 325. Although I'm sure the 325 has plenty of get up and goooo!

It it was just a power thing.

They would not sell any 330i's.
