In all honesty, the factory shock absorbers are not bad at all, but as with any mods, you can always turn it up a notch, or in this case down, when it comes to the lowering properties of this kit (F: 35–55mm, R: 30–50mm).
See, in Hong Kong you can actually feel the hectic traffic, at peak hours, and the force of inertia, when you brake and accelerate, and for “aficionados”, having a proper set under you, can really make a difference. And so, we got this 1 Series F40 that went through such upgrade.
This set is the equivalent of the KW V2, only on a lower price scale, but you really don’t miss out on any of the prime settings, such as adjustable height and rebound damping (16 levels). It is still German quality, after all!

I agree with you, it's just that we have a lot of speed bumps in Hong Kong
