David, I have run Sebring in my C5Z, but my home track is Road Atlanta.....I get a lot more compression at RA compared to Sebring. As I wait for my new M2 next month I am debating my track tire/wheel set up. I think the 275 square is too aggressive for RA , especially with the car lowered. While we all like square set ups, I am inclined to stick with a stagger on 18s, with 265/275 ( may use 9.5 front and 10 rear wheels)....any thoughts/comments? Thanks again for all of your great posts.

As an added data point....stock wheels, no camber plates, 265 RE71 up front. I would occasionally rub under compression during one corner at Mid Ohio (thunder valley) if I was going fast enough. If you are not familiar with mid ohio, the corner combines a hard braking zone with kind of a fast, off-camber sweeper. So it's worst possible case for compression - hard braking down a hill while turning in up a hill, off camber forcing the driver side wheel down. Didn't happen every lap, only my fastest laps. But it was noticeable.

Good to know since RA is very similar. What profile on front , 30/35?. Was wondering if 18s would give a little more clearance....but then lowering would take it away.

Does the F87 have less fender clearance than F80/F82? I thought it was the same suspension/wheel, is the body work narrower? On a F80/F82 you can easily fit 285 square if not 305 square.

265/275 would still work great. I have a couple hours of seat time at Road A and I can definitely agree about the car experiencing more compression there. Even with the stock 245/265 setup the car was fairly neutral so your suggested 265/275 would definitely still be an improvement

The bodywork is narrower on the F87. I think 295/305 may be possible in the rear but it'd be hard to get it to fit up front.
