I took mine off and painted them gloss black so they would match all the trim on the side of the car

Completely agree. Exhaust, tint, wheels and tires, suspension will be my only mods.

I agree that if you plan on leaving the exterior bone stock, the side markers will look better chrome, since it will match the grill. Modded m3's with black kidney grills, or a black theme, will absolutely look better without the chrome, since it would be the only part on the car that doesnt match anything

Here's a question for you Brandon. The sedan fender gills are a bit different than the coupes. Do you know if the black markers will fit the E90 M3?

simplest is to just pull the stock ones off and paint them... Let my body shop do it, cost me about $100 for them to pull them off paint them gloss black to match the other stock trim on my car and reinstall them. Plus the M3 logo is still on them and the turn signal still works. Definitely one of the best mods I've done.

I'm wondering if anyone can do the "black chrome" look for me for the rear M3 badge, front grill, and fender markers. Any ideas where I can get this done? I had the "Shadow Chrome" looking M3 badge on my silver gray e46 and it looked great.

They are - the e92 badges are specific in size and much smaller than the e46 badge.

Yea, this one they said is an 1/8" bigger in both directions... So I'm going to try it because it's the closest I can find. All the other ones are twice as big and look stupid. It was only $50 so worth a try cause it's easier than painting the stock one. I'll let you know how it looks once I get it.

I guess no one makes it the stock size for fear of being sued by BMW for copyright

Check to be 100% sure - I believe he only offers the e46 version.
