Customized double slat Kidney

because I didn't like the original kidneys on my 2021 135i xdrive,
I'm more for the classic with the spokes, this opinion is of course personal
I had decided to buy a double spoke kidney.
however the result was a disappointment as the openings were way too big, so big that my hand even fit between them and also the radiator was even more visible

with some inspiration from the g20 kidneys and creativity i customized the kidneys myself, picture 1 is from where i started
i don't know yet what this will look like on the car itself, i'm waiting for the dry weather to mount them
i would like your opinion on this, because i still have some doubts

No rain in Belgium today, so took some time and replaced the kidneys
I have to get used to this, but I'm happy with the result
Happy New Year to everyone!

Your car is gorgeous! It looks so nice with the black grill now. I’m looking into changing the grill on my car but I’m hearing its quite a job to do so might have to find somewhere that knows what they are doing.

Hi, can you tell me did you have to take off bumper to change kidneys on F.40? Is there any tutorial?
