M Sport vs EDC suspension
Hi guys
I am currently in the process of configuring a BMW 2 GC. I'm taking M-package, so M suspension and M steering is standard. I want to add that wheels will be 18 inches, with RFT tires (because I guess that's what they give as standard). I have an option to pay extra for EDC suspension. Is it worth it? Or maybe M suspension will be optimal for daily trips, mostly in the city, and there is no need to take EDC? I currently drive a BMW F31 Sport Line version, which I believe has the standard suspension and it is ok for me. Please give me your suggestions. Thank you in advance. |

Most technical reviewers say to get the adaptive suspension.
If you don't care about running 19" wheels and can easily afford the option, then I say get it for sure. Unfortunately I couldn't add that option on mine. |

I would get it; I got a 235 GC and in the US, adaptive isn't even an option in the configurator. It's ok without it, but I bet it could be more compliant with adaptive suspension. I would keep in comfort all the time.
My other cars are an E92 M3 track car with JRZ suspension and 2021 Supra with stock suspension. Comfort level is similar to stock Supra suspension. A bit harsher than what I expected for a 235 but nothing new to me. |
