When to replace battery?

My car is 4 years old with around 65,000 km. Just wondering when should I replace my battery? Will my car give me a warning message to let me know I should change the battery or do I just bring it back to the dealer whenever I feel like changing it?

CEL usually. Happened to me 2 weeks ago. Not to say it might not throw a CEL.
