M2 Vs Ttrs Vs Cla45 Amg
i want a new daily. Debating between these 3.... Now where i live theres alot of traffic and no places to go fast so awd is a benefit.
Engine: i test drove the CLA it has a wonderful engine but its only alive after 3k and its not that alive on the top end but its really fast, so it I4 Vs 5-Pot VS I6 Interior: to be honest the TTRS has the best interior and tech... The M2 and CLA are good but the seats in the M2 are horrible looking. Drivetrain: in traffic and bad weather AWD has its benefits and the transmissions of the audi and beamer are ahead of the Mercedes. Fun Factor: One Word: M2. Tell me your opinion below and dont be biased |

CLA 45 can be tuned quite easily to CRAZY NUMBERS.....and the sound is unbelievable. A friend here has one with new intake and exhaust plus a tune. Can break all four tires loose about about ANY SPEED.

The Recaros and extended leather is a must. That being said t me it wasn't always about how fast it was. I kept it for a year and got bored and sold it. I sit in traffic in my daily commute and really missed my E86 Z4m. Now I have my F87 LBB MT M2 arriving this week. Manuals are really just more fun to drive. Can't wait to be back in an M. It really is the ultimate driving machine |

Agreed. The M2 rides just fine, although I did not buy it for the ride. Its been a daily driver in the very mild winter Upstate, and I've had no issues even on our crappy. pothole-filled roads and I routine drive in Sport+.

I ended up with an M2 because of the raves it received and b/c I believe that it will depreciate at a slower rate than the MB. BTW, the M2 does fine in the snow with Conti Extreme Contacts. It is an awesome car!!

If you're looking at Benz you really need to look at the C not the CLA. Doesn't have the crap FWD biased setup. Much better car. If you can wait the RS3 will be a compelling option if you need AWD much more usable day to day than the TT (which is a bitch to see out of btw)

M2 at $54000, CLA45 at $55000 RS3 may be $55000 A C63 is $80,000. M2 also may be a problem in snow country where as the rest of the cars all have AWD system standard. |

You'd have to drive both but we are not talking about track day monsters here when looking at the C class. Think the 43 is a better DD and I'm not sure the 63 is worth the premium IMO. Better car sure, but I don't think it's worth the $. At least for me it wouldn't be. It's not like M240 vs M2 where it's a smaller price premium and a lot more usable performance if you want to do track days. Emphasis on usable. Same reason we got a Macan S instead of a Turbo.
