07 Z4MC Chrome portion of exterior emblems...

Since I have done all I can do cosmetically on the exterior, the last remaining item I want to make changes to are the chrome portions of the trunk, hood and side marker emblems. How do I get them swapped or painted black? Just not a chrome person and wanted to get these changed or modified. Has anyone here done so without a huge undertaking? The rear latch may be the hardest as it is integral with the trunk release.

I need to get out of the house more. Never heard of them, but that's exactly what I want. Would prefer the CF on the roundel so I will look into these guys, thanks.

Try MFEST badges the roundel stickers in carbon look?

They'll do custom colors as well for the MFEST badges.

Yeah, I have the real silver and black CF in all the emblems on my 06. Really sharp and not the sticker stuff. With the MC being odd sizes, I have never found the same thing for it. Thanks for the tip. I'll dig in tonight.

I had the chrome trim around the rear rondel/ release painted black sapphire metallic (475) to match the oe color, as well as the front reflectors, kidney grill surrounds and teckarbon (sp?) oe look carbon fiber hatch spoiler. I think the OP was wondering about rondels that do not have the chrome edge. I would like to some like this also but haven't found any so they remain stock. I did delete the side rondels also and replaced them with black mesh and a black chrome ///M badge. The oe wheels are now black chrome (similar to E39 M wheels.)

I didn't even subscribe to my own thread. What process did you use to paint the chrome around the hatch release? Wrapping, sanding and type of paint would be real helpful. Will do this myself.

M Fest Murdered out badges come ALL black, looks pretty cool but from far away it just looks like a black circle
