Roadster Home Coming 07
Anyone have any news on the event coming up this year? Who's going? When z4um was up they were discussing what hotels that are available, etc. Anyone interested in doing a little caravan up to the event this year?

Count me in. I already have reservation at the Embassy Suites in Greenville. A caravan may work out depending on when everyone is heading that direction.

Details should be released soon, this is my first Homecoming so I will try not to put out bad info. Dates I got were August 29 to Sept. 2 at the BMW facility in Spartanburg,S.C. It is the annual GTG of BMW Roadsters. A quick search on the 'net should turn up info. A lot of us from Z4um (Phil, 20Ducks, etc.) have reservations at the Embassy Suites in Greenville. Apparently that is THE place to be:rocks: , come join us if you are brave enough Cheers! |

Go to the official site when updates become available (registration), plus you can get a quick overview of the event.

It is Labor Day weekend, but as to when registration opens up I have not heard. Would guess sometime during the beginning of June. Keep checking the roadster homecoming official site for registration opening up.
Cheers! Last edited by ovrkll; 05-06-2007 at 08:15 PM.. Reason: Doh!! Put in wrong holiday |

Doh!! Your right, I had just finished reading the previous post and didn't realize that it was the wrong holiday listed . Following the links I provided should have alerted everyone as to when it actually is, and hope that everyone caught that the event is in September (Labor Day weekend).
Cheers! |

LOL... it's ALL Zzzzzzzz, not just roadies.
The name is roadster homecoming because there were no coupes at the start of the model cycle.

Ummm,,, I can't believe it, I actually could not think of a "forum proper" reply to this.
And back to the thread.... Is there going to be a GA drive to the event? Looks like I will be heading up on 29 August if anyone wants to tag along (includes you also Fire ). |

I haven't decided when I'm heading out yet. But I wouldn't mind tagging along with you guys. As long as you're not weaving through traffic at 100mph with your passenger hanging out side try... Opps, let's just say I've had my fill of those kind of "drives".

Who? Me? No, you're right though. When me and ovrkll went for a drive together last Saturday, I drove a little too fast and it wasn't fair. But I just couldn't help myself. Still, I deserve .It's hard to drive that way when you don't know the roads and I'm used to driving by myself, it was a little inconsiderate and I felt bad. A drive with other people is supposed to be relaxing and pleasant. I won't do that again. But when I'm by myself... |
