Equipment options cancelled
I have just had my dealership called requiring changes to order on my 218i MSport GC.
Due to the worldwide microchip shortage BMW have withdrawn the wireless charging option and the extended wi-fi option. They have knocked £250 off the technology package. I didn’t know there was a shortage…. |

if you want wireless charging, the retrofit process is very easy. Plus the parts are available new for sale on Ebay from Germany! That's what I did!

Mineral Grey was removed from the colors options for F44 middle of July sometime. My car was made just before so it just escaped.
Weird for a new(ish) model like that. Paint must contain some microchips of sorts ... |

I got my 2022 M235i on Saturday. I'm not the one who ordered it, but the person who did decided not to buy it when it came in, so thanks to that guy! Anyway, he ordered Digital Key and Wireless Charging, and both show up as deletes on the sticker with the appropriate credits.
I was lucky to get the touch screen and ambient lighting, though, which are two other things I'm hearing it's become very hard to get.
