F40 M135i, almost fully specced (no sunroof) ordered at the end of May, delivered to dealer few days ago. So that's almost 6 months wait time.
Got delayed for ~2 extra months due to Hardon Kardon shortage (was supposed to be delivered within 4 months).

From what I'm now hearing I was really lucky, situation continues to deteriorate in terms of shortages and delays.
Wait time depends heavily on options selected - the fewer stuff is ordered the better the chances of (more or less) on-time delivery.

We shall see - I'm hoping to be taking delivery in upcoming days

The times are tough and buying more complex stuff, cars included, is nightmarish right now. From what I'm reading all major competitors have similar problems. So if you want something specific and aren't incredibly lucky (cars found in stock), you have to wait patiently.
