When I spoke to 3D Design, they said the rear diffuser is not 100% carbon fibre, it was an overlay.

Does the front lip come painted?
How much will the quad set up + diffuser cost?

If the rear diffuser and exhaust can be had in the $2k range I'd buy it.

just like what they did on the non-335i E90's they may have a choice of both: full carbon fiber and the FRP with Carbon overlay.
or 3D Design may decide to just launch the Overlay part number.

the components will not come painted from Japan. However, we can do that for you here for $150/lip.

You should note however, that the paint is not exactly the same, even out of the factory. A lot of external factors will determine the shade and exact tone of the color. Good body shops should be able to match the paint seamlessly.

Is there any video/audio clips of the exhaust? Anyone have a clue what the tone is like with 3d design exhaust?

the exhaust is by Arqray and not a product of 3D Design.
We anticipate that the rear diffuser will fit with the Bastuck exhaust system and also with the Eisenmann system.

So the 2,000 dollar setup will come with the arqray exhaust? Any sound clips of that exhaust? :iono

Guys, it was posted in the video/photo forum:http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14128

Not too bad, but I doubt you'll gain anything except for looks and sound (maybe lose a little performance). I do love those wheels though. Wish I had the moola...

Is the drivers side cutout in the same location as OEM? It would work then from what i have found if the diffuser is symmetrical and has the oem drivers side location for exhaust cutout.

That is my assumption too, but will not know until we try it with the bastuck system soon.
