just got my car, have a few questions

Please share your experience

1: it seems to pull to the right, is this normal?
2: where are the two sub under the front seat? I have a Professional stereo (not logic 7), and it suppose to have 2 sub. but I look under the (manual) seats and nothing under there. what's up with that?
3: it accelerates kinda slow (even for an automatic) during traffic and highway. I have an 90 Legend and with this new car, I can't tell the difference in term of acceleration. or because this one is not break in yet?

Thanks,

Thanks,
When I took delivery of mine it also pulled to the right. Shortly after there was a bad whining noise and loss off power steering fluid. The dealer ended up replacing the entire rack and aligning the car. Drives perfect now.

I thought only the logic7 had the subs under the seats?

Speed I couldn't tell you .. I have a 330 and I was impressed with its performance since day 1. 325 shouldn't be that much of a difference.

Only the logic7 gets the subwoofers and the dash speaker.

Pulling to the right could be either A. road of B. tire pressure. I do not wish C upon you which would be an alignment problem. If A is out of the question bring in to the dealer and let them figure it out.

Congratulations.

I drove 325auto(with 5000miles on it), felt plenty fast.
I don't know about your 90 Legend, but I have a 230whp prelude. By "Feeling", 325 auto felt faster.

my 325 feels plenty fast, the answer to question 1 is hopefully just the road, my car pulls a little to the right but i dont think much of it. Logic 7 only has subs under seats

hehe congrats!! My car does not pull to the right, so I'd have that checked out. My acceleration is great, so I don't about that, but congrats!!

When I first got the car, I felt a lot of tramlining and mistaked that with pulling. I determined it was not a problem since sometimes, it would pull left and right equally. After a few hundred miles, I was used to how the car actually put me in touch with the road.

I can confirm that.
I ordered Hi-Fi as an option (not standard here unfortunately)
I have subwoofers under both front seats. They are built into the floor and you can see the plastic grills over them (flush with the carpet).

I have 17" rims with 225 wide tyres (my first car with wheels this big!) and when I got my car at first it seemed to pull a lot to the left (we drive on the LHS of the road here), especially on roads with more of a camber.

I was not sure if it was due to the BMW reputation of a lot of feedback or what, but I was talking to a fried of a fried who is a BMW salesman - he gets to drive a different car home every day - and he said that it was due to the width of the tyre. The wider they are, the more pronounced the sensation.

I also guess that it might also be due to the fact that BMW's are rear wheel drive. So as the front wheels are being pushed along they are more sensitive to the condition of the road surface.

Anyway, I have my E90 almost a year now and I hardly ever notice it anymore.

On the speakers, I have the most basic audio setup available and I have a speaker under each seat. You have to move the seat all the way forward or back to see the plastic cover of the speaker.

Congrats on the New car
-When I took delivery of My car in Munich and teted it on the Autobahn up to 140MPH...I did not feel it pull in any direction...maybe because the roads are so smooth
-In any case please post lots of pics of your car and Good Luck with it!!!

Funny, because leaving the ED center in Munich was the first spot that I noticed tramlining. I also noticed it on B roads, but like your experience, the A roads were fantastic and I never had an issue.

I am amazed by your pictures. It looks like you have the ZSP tires in the snow. How did that work for you?

thanks, I checked this during lunch and yes, it looks like the sub is there. maybe I expected to be mounted right under the seat, not the floor. Even w/o knowing the sub were there before, I would guess that there must be a sub somewhere because those kind of bass can't be coming out from a mid-range on the door.

Now, if anyone have diagram or instruction on how to install an aftermarket amp and sub in the truck? because clearly, the built-in sub from a non-logic7 is too weak. I want to install a 10" sub in the back with about 200w amp. I checked the battery today and too many wires there, I wouldn't want to mess with that w/o diagram, instruction.

the prep center? you mean the dealer? then it would be just a few days.

if you're talking about the prep center in Oxnard, then it will be about 10 days. I know the waiting is killing you. for me, after waiting so long, I lost my interest on this car when I actually got it. sad uhh? but this won't happen to me again since my next car is a toyota van since by then I should have a few kids already.

-Thanks for the pics comment...In regard to the tires...Yes I do have the Sport Pkg....and I had Zero issues with my car in the snow...the only time I had a problem was when I got stuck in a parking lot that was on a hill with snow and ice....had to get pushed out by 2 people.

Thanks.
