I had my roof, hood, bumper, B-pillars, headlights, and mirror caps, done with Xpel ultimate, for $1100. I'll eventually do the fenders and rocker panels too.

I wish I had an authorized XPEL installer here. I spent nearly $1600 on the XPEL film and had the local BMW dealers body shop install it per my SA’s recommendation and it turned out pretty poorly. See the attached shots from the rocker panels on both sides of the car.

Dont settle for that, I'd go back and ask for it to be re done or at least re cut. The clear bra has a warranty ya know

That is beyond bad! They should have wrapped the edges and the dirt....that's just pure carelessness.

Tomorrow I will take some up close shots for you so you can show those clowns how it's supposed to be done.

I hope they can take it off, clean it up and then re-install. The place that installed mine is actually the place that teaches authorized dealers how to install.

Here is there information if you want to contact them, maybe he can work with the dealership to help them.

The guy I worked with was fantastic, he will surely remember me as it's the only YMB M3 he has ever done. He did a M4 in Belgium.

Send him an email (with pictures) for sure and tell him what's going on.

I have a question about the vinyl on the M4 that protects the rear fenders. Has anyone replaced this vinyl with a clear bra or have the sides wrapped? I am also considering in having the car wrapped and got a price quote of 2100 euro for the full front (bumper, hood, lights, ...) and the mirror caps. A full wrap will cost around 6000 euro but I am not sure this is worth the money.

I would say bring it back to the dealer, they should be able to bring back the installer and they can either replace it or trim it. Trimming those areas would take a few minutes. If you don't trust him find a good shop in your area they may help you out.

I think that quote is high. I got the front clip, full hood, A pillars, headlights, side mirrors, full roof, luggage area, and window tint on all windows (less front) for 2400 euros at an authorized xpel installer
