19" or 20" rims
I will be driving on our wonderful NJ roads driving into NYC with the M5- I thought I would stick with the 19" tires to avoid tire/rim damage as much as possible.
I have not read any driving comparisons - has anyone read of comparisons re ride, handling, etc.?? thanks john |

Been combing auto trader and finally found pics of a car on the 19s and they don't look awful. Wheel options remain the worst part of the M5, otherwise I'm a fan.

I think the 5 spoke 19” wheels look better than both 20” options. I’m starting with the 19” wheels and may buy aftermarket 20” wheels if I find something that looks amazing. The $1300 to get ugly BMW 20” wheels did not make any sense to me. For another $1000 over the $1300 option you can get a good set of 20” BBS or OZ wheels that will make your M5 a little more unique.
