Want to trade/sell: my CSL replicas for type 162's - So.Fla.

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
My lease is up and I need to replace my 19" staggered CSL replicas (Velocity Motoring) with the standard 18" staggered type 162 BMW wheels/tires.

I'm looking, preferrably, for a trade of some sort, but otherwise am looking to sell mine and buy the 162's, so let me know if you're interested in trading, buying or selling.

My CSL's:
19" Staggered CSL Reps on 235/35 - 265/30's General Exclaim UHP.
Rear tires have to be replaced very soon.
Front tires have about 5k miles on them.
As you can see in the pictures, the rims appear to have a layer peeled off throughout, and also have several scratches. They are, by no mean, perfect, but I'm sure they can be easily made to look like new. Not sure why the rims have "peeled" like that, but imagine it's due to the quality of the rims and tire mount/dismount process? Other than that, the pictures will speak for themselves (in order: rear right, front right, front left, rear left).

If I sell them, I'm asking for $650 for local pickup in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. If shipped, plus whatever the shipping cost comes up to.

Thanks!

how old are the rims? assuming you didn't use any acid based wheel cleaners, and its been less than a year i'd try to see if you could get them replaced from vmr.

i've seen first hand how thin the paint they put on the rims, and its quite disappointing. they should really be at least powdercoating rims instead of just painting.

Rims are just under 3 years old, so I doubt I'd get anything from VMR. To be honest, I always took the car to the same car wash I also took my previous car (M3) and I'm not sure what type of cleaners they use, but I would imagine not acid based (it's a state-of-the-art car wash). I agree with the powdercoating comment.
