M235i exhaust compatibility with 228i GC

I have a 228i Gran Coupe and was looking to modify the muffler. I found some catback exhausts that look and sound nice, but they are for a m235i. I was wondering if the m235 exhaust would be compatible at all with my car.

This should work as long as it is the same year and generation. They are the same platform car.

Did you ever decide on the exhaust? I have a 2024 228i GC and have the same need.

I have a muffler delete on my 228i with the m-sport package (still dont really know if that matter lmao) but it adds a great amount of deep sound and I have a clip of it on one of my threads. But in terms of catback I know that supersprint offers a f44 228i catback but thats the only one that I know that has confirmed fitment, but in terms of muffler, I think a muffler delete is the cheapest and best option. I get small burbles at low rpm on downshifts but looking on how to improve that,
