Paint matched diffuser
Yes you read the title right. This is my small journey of paint matching the stock diffuser on my OG M2. It started off by me not liking the price of IND front reflector delete. So I decided to buy a spray paint kit from TouchUpDirect (which is the best match for lbb) and started with the reflectors. Turned out pretty good so decided to buy m-style mirror caps from eBay and paint those as well. I was planning on buying a carbon fiber diffuser (which I still am ) but it was a hassle when I bought one from eBay and it never shipped. So one night I looked at the spray paint can and the diffuser that was off of the M2 (needed some exhaust work done).
And decided why not paint match my diffuser as well. Bought some more paint but this time used a different company because ordering directly from TouchUpDirect takes two weeks! And started to paint. One coat of primer, two coats of paint and two coats of clear layer the diffuser was ready to be installed! Hope you like it and let me know what y’all think! Enjoy! |

Any concern with the heat radiating from the exhaust and discolouring the paint? That would be my one and only concern. Looks good though!
