If I can get one ordered by the time my lease is up in March, it'll be my first M but fourth bmw:

I'm slowly working my way up to a faster car or there's always another z4 if I can't commit to anything else.

Was blessed to own e46 and e92 M3's...

Passed on the F8x generation for M235xi...Not sure if I'll get M2 or not. The M235xi meets 98% of my driving needs and is a hoot. And I don't track.

When I was deciding which car to buy next after a few Audi, vw's, Merc's the decider was the realisation that above 60% of the cars at the ring are from two manufacturers, Porsche and BMW......that many people can't be wrong.

I've had multiple BMWs, currently driving a 2014 X5 35d, but this will be my first M!!!! Should be finishing production later this week and the wait is killing me! So excited to get behind the wheel

My first BMW

I am sure I will like it. I admit I himmed and hawed a bit since there is a lot sports cars out there. A friend who is quite knowledgeable in most things automotive, hates the front end on BMWers due to the struts. He almost talked me out of it in favor of something with a double wishbone. I test drove a Nissan Z, but I could not see out of it. In the end I went with the USAA car buying service, which is great.

Ever since I started driving I've wanted an M. When I was 18 I always said I'd get an E39 M5 or its successor when I'm married and have kids. I eventually did buy an F10 M5 but then immediately wanted an M3. The M5 was a beast but not as much fun. I sold it and put a down payment for an M2. While waiting I did get an E60 M5 and e36 M3. So this is number 4 for me.

While waiting for my M2 I was cross shopping a mustang GT350, which is a better competitor to the M2. I know it's a mustang, but they have really come a long way. I think what eventually pushed me away from the mustang was all the the youtube videos of mustangs losing control...didn't want to be part of that crowd.
