Tires deflate for no reason

I couldn't find anything about this topic. Basically if I don't drive my car for a day or two they lose air pressure. I've had the car for 4 months and have had to fill my tires up 4 times. If anyone has experienced this issue or has an answer I would appreciate it.

i don't have this issue (knock on wood) on my F80, but my previous car had this issue and it drove me crazy. It gave me a low tire warning every other week basically.

I assume you have taken your car to a reputable tire shop to check for any leaks? Usually they can submerge the tire in water to check.

My previous car had run flats, which for whatever reason seemed to be the cause of that issue. As soon as I switched to non-RFTs, I never got a low tire pressure indicator again. I dont think M4's come with RFTs though, so this probably isn't applicable to you.

If the weather is fluctuating between hot and cold that can cause changes in pressure. Do you know if your tires are changing a material amount of PSI or just a small change that just falls under the TPMs limit? Is it just one tire or all four?

Good luck with the issue, hope you can solve it. It was downright maddening in my old car.

There's always a reason.
50% chance (a nail, sometimes it's hard to see) and 50% chance (bad valve stem). Take it to Discount Tire or equivalent, they can check it for you.

Yea, I agree, nail or bad valve stem. Im currently having an issue with a faulty valve stem, so I'm having to fill up my tires every 3 weeks. Thankfully, its not my daily. But its made me super lazy to get it addressed, as I just fill up in the garage and off I go.

Thank you everyone for your input. I think it may be a bad valve system because all of the tires deflate.

One of my valve stems had a leak after the last tire shop visit. I sealed it with epoxy (in between the two metal parts of the stem). That is most likely where your leak is coming from if it's not a nail in the tire.
