M2 front bumper swap to OG M2
I was admiring how good the M2 comp front number looks and I’ve seen it been put on the M140i and I was wondering if it would be able to be swapped onto the OG M2?

I wonder if it’ll work with the aftermarket intercoolers as well

I vaguely remember that vTuned on youtube put a comp bumper on his OG but i dont remember what episode of the series nor how much detail about it he went into.
Regardless if youd like to look into it yourself here you go and good luck https://www.youtube.com/@Vtuned/search?query=m2

I know it has been done a number of times but I'm thinking you can't get it (the bumper) from BMW as their version will come with the front parking sensor "holes" which you don't want with an OG...or perhaps more correctly, you might want but can't have with an OG!

Either order the euro spec bumper that was designed for no PDC or just retrofit PDC

What makes the comp front visually appealing over the OG front, if you don't mind me asking?
To me the front OG grills > Comp grills Pretty much everything else that's different I like about the Comp front. |

I agree. I like the OG front grill better than the comps.

Being used to the OG bumper, the Comp looks like an OG with a teeth grinding problem 😀
And the grill will always remind me of a Kia, or Mrs. Potato Head stick on lips. I don't want it to, but it does. Totally unbiased opinion 😉 |

OG front looks better, cleaner and more aggressive. I'd find something better to spend your $$$$ on

Retrofitting the front PDC would be a nice option but I've been hanging around this forum for years and I've never see a post where someone successful retrofitted the front PDC (and only one post where someone tired). That, of course, does not mean it hasn't been done or can't be done but I've not seen anyone on Bimmerpost do it or provide a 'how to' which is the norm here for every mod out there.
