rear fenders not agressive enough

I found the e92 m3 rear fender not agressive enough as compare to the e46 m3. What would be the easiest, cheapest (but maintain the oem look) to add 1" to each side of the rear fender?

I'm liking the new m, but just think the rear is too narrow looking.

i dont think there are any rear fender flares or widebody fenders out yet for the e92. What you can do if you want to fit some more aggressive wheel fitment is have your fenders rolled

Get the sedan, the fenders look more aggressive.

I think the sedan looks even more like a regular 3 series than the coupe.

why would you want wider fenders. unless its purely for aesthetics theres no point

some members on here are able to fit 315 wide tires in the rear. thats pretty damn wide. wider than that is overkill.

if its for aesthetics then you would have to do custom wide body. lots of money involved there for just looks IMO.

I think if u go to an expirienced shop they can roll ur fenders a bit to just widen them up, not much, but just enough.

I think you will find that there isn't much difference between the two at all, but rather an illusion created by the shape of the E46 flares vs. the E92 flares.

See the 'Brabham' thread if you still think they are too small.

The front/rear fenders look the same as the e46 it's just the e90/e92 is more rounded therefore it doesn't look as protruding as the e46.

Was just gonna say to look at that. I think those fenders flare out way too much tho. Mayb if they were rounded off a bit.

Exactly, just as we have been saying from the early days here on the forum. The flares are actually wider, they are just more gradual. For a short bit of time I prefered the E46 rear flares but not any longer. It also helps a bit to get a more aggressive offset for your wheels or spacers which helpe fill out the wheel wells. It makes it look even wider IMO.
