M60i amazed…

Hi forum… today I tested (finally!!!!!) the M60i (coming from an G05 M50d). I am in love… i ordered it already.. fantastic.. I live in Switzerland but the German highway is 5-10 minutes away.. wow.. can’t grasp how anyone can really find anything negative about that car. Sport plus floored with the gears hammering in, that’s quite something else.. I have had a 330, 530x, the E71,F15 m50d, the g05 m50d but nothing can even remotely compare to this…

September is sooooooo far away. Hate waiting.

Enjoy your vehicles, those of you having it already..

Congrats!!
LOL I know the feeling!
I am going on Monday to secure my spot for a 24 XB7!
When a Cadillac Escalade V starts at 149,695, a Regular Escalade built how I'd want it is 115,500 or even a Grand Wagoner at 112,000 the B7 and XB7 don't seem so crazy especially when you consider the American cars tend to start to creak and rattle like mad after 18 months

I own a '22 M50i and was at the dealer today for the first service after 10 months. I love the car still and it is a blast to drive. I wasn't thrilled with the pictures of the '23 but I saw an M60i on the floor of the dealer in what I think was frozen grey...it looked NICE!!!

Enjoy the ride when it arrives!!

You will love it! Best BMW I’ve ever owned. It’s a beast when you want it to be and completely civilized otherwise. Enjoy!

Can anyone comment on m60i sound in quiet Neighborhood? I take off to work early and like to warm up the car in the winter, will I have people coming after me? lol

I wanna say F those people but I get it you’re trying to be considerate. It’s pretty loud at cold start but then the baffles shut and it quiets down. But it is what it is. Sounds great IMO.

My 40i is actually pretty loud at startup also. For a little bit anyways.

Well I would say that it doesn’t get any quieter than a neighbourhood in Switzerland and it behaves (when not in sport/ plus) quite quietly and non-intrusive.

You can actually control the sound so if your neighbors complain, you can set it to a pretty quiet start. Otherwise, if you set it in Sport Mode it sounds pretty awesome! I would let it rip until they complain.
