The difference isn't going to be huge when using a butt-dyno, IMO. I test drove both and unless one really concentrated, there isn't a night and day difference.

I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but let me tell you from personal experence. The A4 2.0t is no competation for the 325i in the straights, and in the twistes it there is even more humilation in store for the 2.0T. I raced up to 100mph by the way.

By the way i have retired my my racing ways for now. Even though I have only done it twice, I have decided to stop because there have just been stricter racing laws released in florida. And its too big of a risk to take, increase of insurance, possible jail time, loss of my license, lose my car, and many other bad things. Its just not worth it. just my 2 cents

Glad to see you haven't lost your sense of humor, cory.

....and also that you've continued to explore the Garden State Parkway up to its fullest potential.

I have to say, e90post is a great site, your comments have helped me a lot. I think I'll be happy with my 325, and I'm moving up from a Civic, so even better. Also I get the car this weekend, hopefully...and I ordered it w/o sports package. But I would not want to go till 140 mph or higher, one mistake and I'll be toasted.. ...

I have to agree with you. After test driving both cars (and being predisposed to the Audi brand at the time) my seat-of-the-pants-ometer says the 325 creams the 2.0T

yes, because its not just 20-30HP at one given RPM, its throughout the band.

325's a great "Balanced" car for the money.

It's plenty quick and corners like "it's on rails."
