Does the Heated Steering Wheel button suppose to light up when activated ? Mine doesn't. It does notify on the Info cluster but then disappears. Is there an auto deactivation timeout when car is shut off ? ie ive shut the car off, locked it say for 5-10 minutes. Come back and restarted. Pressed heat button and info says its now deactivated, as in it was still activated. Would be nice if there was some indication as to what its current status is on start up ??

No, it does not. There is a temporary notification that shows whether it's on or off.

Thanks, figured as much. At least the button is in a better place. My X2 has it on the side of the steering column !!

Figured why sometimes steering would be on on startup at times. There was a temp rule set up. This was in the personal assistant menu.
Can also set a rule for the seats as well !!

Like the heated seats, it comes on again automatically if you continue within 15 minutes. (user manual p.97)
