156 rims. Can they have 225/50 R16 tires?

I´m ordering tomorrow a 325i. In the spanish configurator you can choose as standard the 155 rims -rather ugly for my own liking- or the 156, 7 J x 16, that I prefer. But I doubt if the 156 comes with 225 or 205 tires.
Can anybody tell me about this?

I don't know but I think that the 156 wheels are really great looking.

Style 156 comes with 205/55/16 tires from the factory

This is because its a standard 320i wheel in many countries

225s should easily fit. I run them on 16x6 wheels on one of my other cars. The only downside if you get tires that are too wide is that they will bow, however with 7" wheels you should be fine.

I dunno if it's just me, but whenever I see a 325 with those, it just doesn't look right (tires too narrow for car).

I agree

The car to me seems to be made for minimum 17" 255 at the rear for looks

Yup. But now we've pissed off most of the E90 owners that don't have SP option....

Thanks to all.

Probably the 205 tires would be enough for me. I drive rather slowly and mostly in the city.

Besides that, I like a light steering (my 325i will have Active Steering) and the 205 wheels will help to it.

I´m starting a new thread to find out if somebody has the 325i/205 tires combo.
