My M135iX is probably almost identical, and I have absolutely no issues with BimmerCode via ENET cable and an Ethernet-Lightning cable on my iPhone.

Have you tried it and found a problem, or are you just thinking about it?

If it's iPhone, put it in flight mode (WiFi, BT and GSM all off). Also, try to be a bit more helpful about what you're doing and what you see.

Did you set allow BimmerCode to access the local network in IOS settings?
Allow BimmerCode to access the local network (iOS settings > BimmerCode > Local network).

I was having the same issue but with iPhone and this worked:

Going into "Demo Mode", disconnecting, then immediately hitting "Connect" when you return to the home screen.

Unfortunately, it is hit or miss but I have not experienced issues once connected.

Have you done this:
1. Car turned off, cables disconnected.
2. Put the phone in flight mode, or whatever Android needs to turn off Wifi and Bluetooth.
3. Connect the ENET cable to the OBD port and the Ethernet adapter for your phone, plug the latter into your phone.
4. Turn on the car in diagnostic mode: feet off the pedals and press the Start button very quickly 3 times. Don't start the engine.

I would assume the android app user interface and features are exactly the same as iOS so no reason not to try the demo mode fix. I also tried everything and this is the only method that has worked.
