My M135iX is probably almost identical, and I have absolutely no issues with BimmerCode via ENET cable and an Ethernet-Lightning cable on my iPhone.
Have you tried it and found a problem, or are you just thinking about it? |

Going into "Demo Mode", disconnecting, then immediately hitting "Connect" when you return to the home screen. Unfortunately, it is hit or miss but I have not experienced issues once connected. |

Have you done this:
1. Car turned off, cables disconnected. 2. Put the phone in flight mode, or whatever Android needs to turn off Wifi and Bluetooth. 3. Connect the ENET cable to the OBD port and the Ethernet adapter for your phone, plug the latter into your phone. 4. Turn on the car in diagnostic mode: feet off the pedals and press the Start button very quickly 3 times. Don't start the engine. |
