MPS4S?

Costco hadn't even heard of them 10 days ago.

Call your local Costco and ask. It's not posted online. Those were ordered by the manager a week ago.

Ordered 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 at Costco to take advantage of the coupon, they arrive in a few days. A little over 1200 out the door.

I've had my MPS4S for about a week now and have put around 400 miles on them. They are superior to my old MPSS in all categories but one I was surprised is how much more dry traction I seem to be getting. I would spin my MPSS 285s in 3rd like they were nothing and that doesn't happen on the 295 MPS4S.

I have them on my ZCP all tho on aftermarket 20s and Swift springs. They seem a little better than the MPSS in all categories. Comfort, NVH, turn-in, side to side grip, and strait line performance. I have not driven them in the rain yet.

In terms of grip with these are you still getting wheel spin with them in 1st and 2nd?

I have not really floored my car in those gears yet. Not something I do often. But I would guess they would spin as I'm probably making over 500tq . I would spin in 2nd on my 305 RE11 on my 15 w/ JB4 Map2 E30 mix.

Oh wow 500TQ! Is that just from the tune or any bolt ons or other mods too?

AD08R is a little grippier than a PSS/PS4S but trades that dry grip for wet grip and a worse ride quality. It's actually more of a MPSC2 competitor -or a middle ground between the two.

I imagine these tires are just now getting broken in. So the grip should be better now, than when first installed.

Also were your last PSS Bmw star rated?

I feel Michelin does not really have a tire to compete in the "Summer Extreme Performance" category (AD08R, RE71R, RS-4, g-Force Rival, F1 Supercar, etc...).

The PSC2 is more of an R-compound, meaning primarily designed for the track but still street-able. Whereas the AD08R is primarily designed as a street tire.

I joined the PS4S club today. They will arrive this Friday but I'm not sure if I want to mount them before or after my track event next month.
