She wants me to drive the 335i while she drives my daily driver

. Drive your car while you still can. It`s just a fucking car!!! If you have a stroke tomorrow, or a heart attack and end up in a wheel chair you are going to look back one day and say, I wish I drove my car more often . I`m your age (55) and I did have a heart attack last June, so you might think that`s why I`m talking like this. No, I just let my wife (not let, what`s mine is hers) and my friends drive my cars that might not be able to afford to buy one like mine or they are just to cheap to buy one. Anyways, I have 6 cars, my wife drives any car that she wants (only 3 that she drives, because she can`t drive manual). Trust me, I baby my cars, when she curbs a wheel or hits something I lose my shit, but it goes away after a day or so, it`s just a car

I usually don`t get involved in these conversations, because you just hear so much weird stuff that makes your head shake. It looks like you guys might have bigger problems if a car is such a big deal. Good luck.

The initial emotion is always secondary to something deeper. We talked about it last night, and it was not "the car" or how I feel about the car. It was a deeper rooted emotion, something that's been bothering her.

This thread actually helped me, how much do I owe? I figure psychologists get what, $150/hr? ;-)

I know on the video game stuff!! My buddy just got he Mercedes 450 GL or somesuch and the display and functionality are all too much!! Some of it is cool but the rest is superfluous.

It's strange I know, I was the same way with my previous 2001 330ci and 2011 335i. It was pouring down rain when the buyer showed up to pick up the 2011 335i. I looked at them and said "It's raining, this car has not be in rain since I bought it". I did not even want to back it out of the garage.

Ha, as much as I want to share it's personal to us (but not unique to relationships in general), and would be disrespectful to her.
