11.45 or 12.45? I don't think V2 will take more than a second off of his previous best.

Any word yet? How awesome would it be if he came back with an 11.5 run. LOL

Patiently waiting here for results.

He has a 9-second twin-turbo Vette, so I am pretty sure he can handle things well on the track. Plus he already has the quickest pass on PROcede V1.4x with a 12.53.

I do remember when he ran the 12.53 he torque-braked the car to 2600 on the launch enroute to 1.6x 60fts. I guess we will have to see if the extra torque for V2 is too much for the DRs with that kind of launch.

Good information to know, what other mods does he have besides the Procede, if he put down that time with the procede and knowing he is a good driver and can handle the low end torque from the launch im willing to say 12.1 is possible........

Got a text from him earlier today. Turned out the weather was poor. Worse than it was last time he went. But he still managed to hit a 12.4 ET which is a new record. I think his traps were 109.x running the standard v2.0.1 map. We were going to test some more aggressive maps (less time-base boost decay) but logistics didn't work out.

Not bad at all for a crappy-weather run, but about what I had expected...at least he beat his own record and still remains in the #1 spot on DragTimes.com. I bet on a better day, he'll get 12.2x-12.3x sec. @ 110+mph.

Hey, Shiv, btw -- I think many of us v2 customers are still a bit perplexed on what TQ Curve values to use...say if you have a 6AT running on 93 octane, would you go for 100% across the board like max boost does or just use your baseline v2.0.1 map for a flatter TQ curve?

Guys, like shiv said he reported a not so good weather day. I live 30-35 min from the track he went to. The conditions he ran in were 72-75 degrees and HUMIDITY was 85-90%

Dont know if what i posted helped anyone have a clearer idea on what he meant by poor conditions. But that was the weather for here today. VERY UNSEASONAL. If today was 55 and 30% humidity i am sure 12.2 would have been seen.

^^ This is from my exp at atco. I had a 10 sec procharged corvette, a turbo audi s4 that ran 11s, and a supra with $30k in mods. Todays weather sucks for a boosted car here in NJ.

Mid-12's are still a very respectable time. Congrats on setting the new record.

I think that boost decay is really sand bagging the trap speeds. Although the 12.4 ET seems pretty awesome to me

From my understanding boost decay retards boost when sustained load or very harsh conditions exist, i.e. auto cross or track racing with very little unboosted periods. I don't think boost decay would occur with straight drag racing like this. Right, shiv?

12.45 nice run. Cant wait to see with nice cool ambient temps (55 degrees) and little to no humidity, im betting you can break into the 11's.
