"Purple All Sectors" has the HKS exhaust as well as auto transmission. Here is his full review as well as sound clips of the exhaust. Just shoot him a PM if you have any other questions regarding the system.

Bastuck is on the very very conservative side as far as Loudness goes. No drone though. Best sounding Exhaust is got to be the Eisenmann Race...but drone will drive you crazy.

Once I have the $$, I plan on getting CP-E.

Speaking of that, if everyone on this forum gave me a buck, I'd be able to get the exhaust soon! Comeon, what's a buck?

CP-E looks and sounds pretty decent, so does the HKS. I dont mind the burnt tips at all.

Whats everyones thoughts on dual vs. quad for a sedan? I keep going back and forth!

AE exhaust is my choice. Here's why: I heard it via sound-clips and liked it. I then heard it in person and it was perfect to me. It's not catback, it's a full under-the-car exhaust replacement from the downpipe-back and they delete the secondary cats. I took the 2nd cats out of my stock exhaust and the difference was night and day. Spending the same money on a catback exhaust system just doesn't seem reasonable to me.

Dual or quad tips is your choice on how much money you'd like to spend.
Switching to quads means a new rear bumper depending on what you have now. You could always start off with dual tips and get quads later when it's time to decide on a rear bumper.

Both look good so it's a crap shoot imo. But depending on your rear bumper set-up LiKWiD335xi has a good point. If you have a m-tech rear no problem otherwise you are looking at more work to make it look right so good luck.

Let us know your final decision as I'm curious since we have similar set-up! And a sound clip if possible would be great!

Bastuck. But, I do have to correct people that stated there is no drone. Under normal driving, there is no drone (above 2500rpm). However, if you are on the highway, and have the car in 6th, just cruising with rpm's around 1800, and leave it in 6th and accelerate, you will get drone. I don't drive like this, and if you don't, you won't have a problem.

Check out the May 2009 edition of Grassroots Motorsports magazine. They tested 5 different exhaust systems and dynoed each one on a 335.

I hear you. Automatics are tough and any aftermarket exhaust will have some element of drone. Even the stock exhaust has resonance, it is just not loud. I have the cat back Milltek exhaust and it is perfect. Louder and deeper at startup and cruising, but not intrusive like what I had with the Eisenmann Race. The Milltek really sings above 4500 rpm. I loved the sound of the Eisenmann. There is nothing like it. However, you cannot have it both deep, loud and not have drone and a rattle from the tray in the back.

Good luck and I will try to post a video if I can get my wife to film it.

i also say go w/ CP-E. had that exhaust, loved the exhaust note. now i'm w/ arqray, a lil quieter, but a much more balanced tone and unbelievably superb on load.
