My camera alignment seems off in parking view. When I cross the threshold of my garage, the portion behind the car is offset from the rest. It also happens when I pull into a parking spot. As I pull in, when the front curb transitions from side camera to front I also see an offset.

Is this normal or do I need to have my cameras aligned? It's been like this from day one.

In my experience, the modern BMWs I've had in the past decade (3 series, X4, X5, iX) have never perfectly stitched the camera views together in the top down view. They've always been close, but never spot on, which is obvious in a parking lot with well painted lines as you see that they don't line up perfectly at the transition points. Whether it is normal or not really depends on how off they are. If they are so bad that it makes parking more difficult as a result, talk to your service advisor and have them recalibrate them if they can.

Post a pic if/when you have a chance.

Finally got the car back yesterday and I'm pleased to say that all the sensors appear to be functioning, active cruise control is error free, cameras look aligned.

Intend to excersise more caution from now on!
