Mines was suppose to be built finished on the 25th, but it seems either BMWs system hasn’t updated or my build has been delayed

Mine started yesterday. So most likely we all are in the same line. LBB

Looks like they are up to VB09180 now. They've built quite a few in the past couple days since taking a break for several days.

I've been cross-referencing BMWVIN.com results with the BMW 1-800 production status information.

I initially received my VIN beginning of July. It immediately showed up in BMWVIN.com, then disappeared about 3 weeks ago when it went into status 150, and has not yet resurfaced on BMWVIN.com.

My guess is the VIN shows up immediately on BMWVIN.com, but once the vehicle actually begins production (status 150), it disappears from BMWVIN.com. BMWVIN.com then sequentially adds vehicles once they have finished production.

BMW 1-800 number says my vehicle will finish production around 8/3/18, which is concordant with how the VINs are showing up on BMWVIN.com.

This is all conjecture on my part of course! And probably more info than you wanted to know!

I got my VIN this morning but nothing via bmwvin.com yet. I'm guessing there is certainly a lag there as mine is almost 100 above the max VIN you have above.

Up to VB09181 now...

On average it looks like ~10 cars/day rolling off production line. Some days a bit more. So maybe your car should be complete around 8/10? Curious if the BMW 1-800 number gives a similar estimate on your production #.

I ordered on 7/20.
BMW Genius told me my build week is 33 (8/13 to 8/19)
My status changed from 112 (scheduled for production) to 150 (production begins) when I logged in early this morning.

I can't find mine either. But if they are doing about 10 a day mine should be finished by end of next week.

Being in South Africa I wonder if your VIN is a bit different than cars bound for North America? Different sequence perhaps?

I see that VB10200 (euro spec M2C) was produced on 7/30/18. So perhaps your vehicle should be complete within a few days?

South Africa is beautiful country BTW!

Thanks alot man. Its weird cause according to my salesman the car should already on the boat, but even on his side it still shows status 50 so I wonder if production was delayed on my car for some reason. Very annoying .

Thank u on the comment of SA. It is stunning here.

The last trackable VIN# is VB09192

My VIN# is 100+ past that. It's not trackable yet.

I just switched to this on "Track My BMW."

"Production begins.
Today's the day: your BMW has entered the production queue."

Just switched from "at the port" to "in transit". Too bad it's such a heavy turd and LBB is actually not blue. Might just have to sell it for a loss and get an M2 LCI instead.

Edit: oh yeah and it sounds so bad too! Need to phone the Captain of the ship and see if he can have someone push it off the side of the boat at night when nobody is looking.
