M3 with V10 will probably happen in the next two or three M3 generations, after the M group has wrung out the last drop of performance from the v8 engine. But within the next 14 years or so, a V10 M3 is highly unlikely.

Within the next 14-21 years I think there will be some MAJOR paradigm shifts in the automotive world. Shifts that will probably negate a V10 from ever existing in an M3, I'm sorry to say.

No way they will upgrade it a year later, its impossible. A CSL version will come out a few years later but a 500 HP M3 with V10, you must be dreaming.

Agree. We are in the golden era of internal combustion. Global Warming and diminishing Dino Juice reserves will force serious change on the industry. Not necessarily bad, just change. There will always be a performance segment, whether it is utilizing hybrid, hydorogen, Oto cycle or chipmunks.
