I can't tell much from the short clip the op posted.
Most manuals make a little noise when operating. Some more than others. My 2020 M2C is no exception. I don't hear much when I'm inside the car. However, I have cameras set up around my garage and I can hear a little noise when parking on the video footage. Especially, when going in and out of reverse. Normal Edit: but yeah, if you still think it's abnormal for whatever reason...keep sending it back to the dealer. |

The forum and my vague description of a knocking noise, other members was able to help me diagnose a blown front strut, which I originally assume was a broken ball joint.. |

As for noise while driving and not shifting gears, I'd have to say no to that on my car. |

That is correct, clutch in/out makes the noise.

I'd try driving another manual m2 if possible.
With cars, I've realized that sometimes it's best to leave a noise alone and see if it worsens with time or if you can better figure out when/why it's happening (e.g. weather). Having a dealer start replacing some major components under warranty may lead to more issues down the road. Car's will get squeaks, rattles, etc over time. I just get nervous when a dealer begins ripping things out of a car and starts replacing them. Not saying you don't have a legitimate issue, just saying it may be better to take a wait and see approach. But it does require you to be less anal and I know that's tough to do w/ a new car. |
