Hopefully we are on the same convoy and ship!
I need to do some research now about track from here on out. I figure give it a few days and call genius to find out ship assignment from Bremerhaven. EDIT: Did some investigating. A decent amount of ships from B'haven to Brunswick and east coast. Nearly daily for the next week or so. Hopefully we land on the boat rather quickly. A call to genius however said typical wait at port is 4-6 weeks which seems a bit conservative? I guess we shall find out soon! Last edited by DTMfan; 05-06-2024 at 03:24 PM.. |

Yep, it would put us on our dealers original timeline guess. A lot of luck involved at the port process.

Updated to arrived at Port! I checked in the middle of the night about 3am and it had not updated. I just checked again and we are at port.
The "Morning Lady" is still at Port and has not departed but is scheduled for today. Overly optimistic, but it would be amazing to make it on that boat. Otherwise we have 4 more set to sail in the next few days. Fingers crossed for a quick port sit. |

Mine also spent 3 days in quality check, so I guess not out of the norm. Hopefully, you will see some movement today and we might even get on the same ship

Interesting mine was on QC for a few hours then out the door. It was explained to me by the genius team that status sit until someone decides to log them etc. Hopefully you go rapid fire and end up showing at Port tomorrow etc.

Morning Lady pulled out of port late this evening. Others are there ready for east bound. Hopefully folks from earlier weeks got on board.

I guess the person that updates the status is on vacation......still in Quality Check. Either that or they are looking at this thing with a magnifying glass! Congrats to the cars that got on the ship!

Has anyone from week 18 or 19 gotten on a ship yet? I see some week 17s have, but it might be most of weeks 14-17 are getting on the ships that are slated for this week and next week. We might be in the next batch.

My car flipped to arrived at port in the morning in Bremerhaven and the first available ship didn’t coast out until nearly midnight yesterday. I’m sure I didn’t make the cutoff , but it would be interesting to know how much lead time is given to assigning cars to each vessel etc. I’m just thankful for all the info bmw gives us compared to other makes I’ve tried to track over the last few years. |

Any updates from the week 19 group? I am still at port. Hoping to get on one of the four leaving for West Coast this week, but with so many from previous weeks still waiting, who knows!

It looks like a handful of week 17 got in some westbound ships this week. I’ve been at port for 3 weeks. Hoping to hitch a ride on the remaining two ships heading West.

Nope, and I keep refreshing multiple times a day. I know there is a 48 hour lag or so. Boats have left nearly every day for Brunswick starting on the 11th. Another one leaves tonight as I recall. That would have been about 3-4 opportunities for my car to make it. We shall see. I'm curious how much allotment space wise BMW has on each of these RoRo's? Capacity is 8-9k per ship, but I'm curious if BMW only has a small percentage of this? Either way I sit here on my off days from work this week bored. . In the meantime I need to figure out what I'm doing with my 997

Mine is still stuck at QC. I am hoping that it's at the port and the status is just not being updated. I've been refreshing every 30 minutes as well. 997 and a G80 would indeed be a sweet combo.

Wow, that is a very long time in QC. You might have the best built G80 around lol. More likely someone forgot to scan your car I bet.

Well, the Morning Lynn has departed. Next Brunswick boat is planned for May 20th. A little break in the action for the rest of the week before a few more next week scheduled. Hopefully some of us are onboard the few that left in the last 2 days.
