For work there's no way I could live without it. Phone, laptop and an internet connection and my workplace can be anywhere in the world which is great. In fact for 75% of things I can do without the laptop as the phone does so much more than they used to.
For personal life I could definitely live without it. It would certainly stop people having an excuse for being fucking late to things and think it's ok just because they've sent a message telling you so. I remember before mobile phones were around, I used to meet friends from all around the country in London on a certain day at a certain time and everyone would get there without any issues and on time. |

I would really struggle I must admit. My laptop and home working are also essential to my everyday life now. Technology has helped me transform my home/work balance. Bring it on.

Having just lost my mobile and taking a week to replace it, I can say yes its refreshingly easy to live without one. Especially living without work calls as my manager always insisted I was available 24/7. Turns out it's not the end of the world after all, apparently things can wait until I check my inbox.

I can live quite happily without mine. Would I want to? Probably not as it has found uses in modern life. I lived for a couple of months in Uganda and Rwanda without the use of it and it was refreshing how quickly it stops being a 1st world necessity. The only thing I used it for was as a mirror (selfie camera cos I'd forgot to take one for shaving). I find its one of those things that if you have it, you use it (a bit like a cheap east European hooker). |

I could probably live without my phone. It's only used for browsing social media out of Bordem so it wouldn't be a great loss. My phone is not a works phone so I refuse to have my emails linked and ignore calls from unknown numbers. |
