At this point in development, no. But expect to adjust boost control gain to compensate for your specific wastegate setting/type. The rest of the stuff should fall into place rather nicely.

Is the firmware for the 11-01 maps (pro5v109) the same firmware used for the 10-18 maps? Robert loaded 10-18 directly on to my unit when I upgraded to 2.5 so I have no idea which firmware controlled 10-18. Thanks.

Nope. It is different. As always, we recommend updating the firmware along with the map.

i heard a little feedback a few weeks ago, that these new aggressive maps feel less rev-happy, but have more torque. can anyone compare the throttle response and upper-rpm performance please?
I felt that it had more top end personally. I also ran without meth on the appropriate settings and noticed a noticeable bump in power output throughout the entire RPM range and definitely the bottom end.

Will this eventually be rolled out for Rev2 units as well?

The internal hardware of the Rev2 cannot support what these new maps do. You must upgrade if you want to use these new maps.

In the user adjustable just switch from PWM (default) to PPS

Yeah but Shiv stated before that the PPS system might not be good enough for his aggressive maps

It works, but PWM works better.
The thing with new maps is your car must be up to par. You must have a reliable methanol system, flowing adequately with excellent atomization.
He knows with the PWM kit you will have that but he cant speak for every PPS kit as they all differ a lot with many nozzle size differences, placement, flow, atomization, charge pipe design, ETC ETC

Just run some logs and see where you are at.

I asked the same question 2 days ago. It works, just not as refined as PWM.

PPS kits don't quite offer the same level of knock suppression, all things equal, as the PWM meth kit. Which is why you typically have to spray more volume to get the same results. But spraying more meth has a downside when it comes to cylinder-to-cylinder meth distribution. Especially when using a single larger nozzle and not two smaller nozzlers (as few people do). Nozzle placement is also critical and I've seen PPS meth kits with nozzles mounted too close to the throttle body. So yes, PPS meth will work but there are some caveats/things to look at if you want to get full performance out of these maps.

Cheers,
shiv

Hey but nozzles on your cp are pretty close to the TB, so with the PPS kit you would recommend placing the nozzles as far as possible from the TB and dual nozzle setup about 7 and 7 for straight meth ?

M7 and M5 is plenty, farthest from the TB Post intercooler.

Lol.. You have dual 1.0mm nozzles. Just pick the appropriate stg map and set map2 values to 65% boost and 0% IC.

Nozzle sizing is different for PWM VS PPS.

IF you have the PWM kit from vishnu these maps are set up for you.

Just run stage 2 or 3 depending on your mods. Probably 3 as it seems you have full bolt ons.

shiv..sorry but im a little confused with these new maps..one part of your read me file says map 2 start boost should be 65% and ignition 0% respectively...but further reading says that the scaling has all been changed..default user parameters following the update has map 1 and 2 on 14.9 start boost and 0 IC. are we or are we not supposed to change start boost for map 2 to 65% or leave it alone?
