Yah that member got hosed. At least he was able to return it and get his money back. That was atrocious.

In general when talking about replicas there are usually the really craptastic ones and the solid quality ones.
Unless money is no object, the price vs quality of the good quality replicas is the way to go.

Unless you are a brand whore, in which case get the name brand one.

I got the Selma front and rear M-Sport as well, same outcome. Body shop said that the primer prep work was flawless so finishing and painting was quick and easy. Same for install, they said it fit like OEM, everything lined up perfectly. Since my lip is getting a little tattered, I bought another one, Taiwan for $100 and have it sitting in the garage for when the the first one gets beat up too much.
