Thanks for your answer !

1/ There was no errors before flash
2/ Yes esys said clearly that flash was finished and sucessfull (5min)
3/ Just flash DDE, to see if there is an improvment.

I have added the 2TB option a few months ago. Is there a link ?

Thanks :-)

Or could it be linked to a dependencies issue ?

If you read my first post, you know NOT to flash ECUs just to see... many people do it and they into trouble! (sorry had to say that )

Ok, those first two errors tell you that you need to teach your Gear sensor. If you execute "test measures" in ISTA, it will show you procedures to remedy those two faults. If you don't understand any of this, then you need help !

The short circuit error could be related to the above two or not...

The 2TB was a mod where you opened your HU (radio), or just hooking it up in the USB port? Hard to say, but I don't think it is related.

Now why these 3 errors popped up after you flashed, no idea, there is as always a piece of information that users don't provide...

I'm soo happy to see any answers :-)

1/ Sorry for upgrading without a good reason :-)

2/ 2TB is the Sport Automatic Transmission activation (was normal transmission before). I have added it thanks to e-sys a long time ago.

3/ I'll do the "test measures" in ISTA as soon as i find it in ISTA

I'm comming back in a few minutes ...

thought 2Tb was a 2 Terabyte disk that you used for media ... What is the car's current Istep, and the I-step of the new DME software ?

So now we have another piece of the puzzle, its very likely that the new DME software doesn't like your 2TB option. Of course, you can always flash back the previous DME version and see... But for now work with ISTA test measures... Read the procedures carefully before you execute, some have pre-conditions to be met...

Wow, very old Istep (2014) and you updated one of the most important ECU (DME) to 2017... Anyways its all speculations for now, lets see what you find in ISTA. Si tu connais Capitaine Haddock de Tintin et Milou, mille millions de mille sabords

oh boy ... we have a long way to go. I usually don't do this, but would you like me to teamview into your PC ? If yes, PM details...

If no, and probably I misled you, I should have said "Calculate test plan", bottom right. See attached pic, and this is a flashing thread so if you think you will need help with diagnostics, maybe open another thread in the proper sub-forum.

That's weird ISTA didn't recommend a procedure for those two errors.. I can show you where those procedures are, but maybe shawnsheridan 's advice on BF is worthwhile to do, update both DME/EGS to same version without any mods.

I did what I did it and it's works !

aboulfad and shawnsheridan i love you :-) Thanks for your wonderfull help and disponibility. Thanks also to everyone else who participate

I have replace 2TB option by 2TE as it was at the factory, then flash EGS, then DME, clear the errors 2 times, et voila ! I think that the issue was because of the 2TB option.

EGS and DDE Flash (2 and 3 minutes) :

Good news :

I have to do a test run to confirm but it seems to be ok, i'm so happy

Thanks again !!

1/ To finish this job, what do you think about updating the other modules ?
(maybe tomorrow, to much stress for today !)

2/ Including the gateway ZGW2 ?

ok in North America, we don't say that, a usual thanks is OK I understand the feeling when my first flash went bad... and then my sensei Shawn, keeping calm, helped me

I'll update the first OP and place another warning based on your experience. Yeah, take a break, have some wine and cheese, chill for tonight

Re-read my first post, all the details that tells you my opinions and those of Shawn about flashing in general...

Your English is great, i was just being funny about the "Je vous aime" ;-) Here's a summary: DO NOT FLASH unless you have a real good reason, or bored or stupid

I would never update any ECU without good reason, especially ZGW. Either you are fixing a bug or adding a new feature. Other than that, there is no reason to udpate.
