Same here, 15 days and counting. Called them last night and they told me it should be resolved by EOD today.

I was checking some QC pending X7 specs and so far there are no patterns that I can find from specs. Some have space saver spare, some dont, some have 21 inch tires, some have 22 inch tires. It may be just in time inventory issues as Genius folks told me about a week ago. Or there may really be something wrong with these cars that is causing the delays, I guess we will never know what the real cause is. I hope it is indeed inventory issues related delays rather than actual issues. Below is added options for a car in QC for more than 10 days

I called genius also today. They could not tell me anything about the QC delay, but they did show my build was scheduled for completion today. They also could not tell me if that had changed historically or if it was a real completion date, so I suppose we'll see.

Let's hope they are getting parts today and will complete QC builds. My dealer is dead sure that I'll be able to pick up the car form him next week. I'm becoming more and more skeptical =).

Tried to change the color of my X7 from Brooklyn grey to Marina bay blue, SA said it should be ok yesterday since it hasn’t started production yet (week 20 build). Today he called me saying since I have full black merino leather approved as an individual option on the build, we need approval from BMW first before we can change exterior color and they emailed them. He did say it should be doable but might push production 1-2 weeks back…anyone run into such an issue? Thanks

I have an April allocation. Individual option (ivory/atlas gray interior) and MBB exterior. It did delay me at least 1-2 weeks from when the other m60i’s from the same allocation batch are being built. I’m a week 18 build.

Worth it, in my opinion!
