The list I received is similar to yours but missing a few items ... not worth getting haha

ParanoidAndroid4 I got the MPE added

Do you guys have any recommendations for the lip/spoiler - really trying to find a clone lol... I don't want that CF price tag as I am not really a fan of the CF. The i4 forums have helped a bit lol
Thanks for the update on what was available at the port for you. I guess it varies from port to port and/or what is/will be available when the car gets there and we aren't very lucky right now for Port Hueneme.

I'm reconsidering the CF spoiler since the only other thing for sure that I want CF is the interior trim and the spoiler isn't available at the port anyway. So I may go gloss black spoiler in the size/shape of the M Perf CF spoiler along with gloss black wrap/PPF on the roof and stainless black or CF+blue/gold exhaust tips.

The $2400 price of the M Perf CF front lip is pushing me to either an aftermarket gloss black lip or just some under-bumper scrape protection like sliplo, which a friend put on his G80 and he's happy with it.

Thanks 107Bulldog for the tip about checking the i4 forums too.

Hi 107Bulldog I also added MPE to my build, will it cost any extra time at the port for them to install it?

Also, I got my production code on 7/6, the status says scheduled for production and it never changed...

I was at scheduled for production state when I ordered on May 3 until June 12-13. Originally production was supposed to start in week 21 (week of May 22) but a few of us here were delayed 3 weeks, we think because of the driving assistance package. Another member here was also scheduled for week 21, without that package, and they already have their car.

You could check with your client advisor which week your car is scheduled to start production. At least you already have an allocation since you have a production number.

It MAY add extra time at the port from what I've gathered. It'll take about 1-2 days at the port to process (customs) then go to VPC from there, they'll add port installed options so anywhere from 2-5 days additional time then goes to a truck to your dealership - timing for this is dependent upon where the dealership is located and the port. (1-4 days?)

The timing is fluid cause all I see is negativity due to covid times haha

Wow Mk22 you waited over 5 months just to get an allocation for your 2024 M440i GC?

I submitted my order to my dealer on June 17 and got an allocation on July 12...and I thought that was long! I guess I was lucky.

My 2024 M440i GC X-Drive is now in the production q.

I ordered:

Portimao blue
Cognac Sensatec interior
19 inch Non RFTs All seasons
Aluminum Rhomb trim
Driver Profession Pkg
Premium Pkg
Parking Asst Pkg
Sensatec Dash
M Adaptive suspension
Drive recorder

Hoping it arrives by end of October. Fingers crossed!

Patience is going to be the norm with this. I ordered my M440i xdrive coupe on May 5th, it has been at the port since July 5th, so who knows what the issues is. I did have drivers assistance on mine.

Arrived at the port around the same time as you - looks like we're in it together.

Mine should be at the VPC in the next 24 hours. I’m having the MPE installed. I’ll let everyone know how long mine takes.

I was unlucky Dealership took my deposit for 2023 model at the end of December and promised an allocation in January with the production week in February. They didn't receive allocations, so the process was indefinitely delayed.

My speculation is that BMW stopped producing 2023 models in the beginning of the year to switch the factory to 2024; the production resumed in March-April, but most dealers didn't get allocations until May-June.

Fortunately, I still have my current car and can wait as long as necessary to get the exact spec that I want.

Lost track of a few of the timelines but had "Production Begins" status on 6/28 - confirmed with Genius that my vehicle was picked up on 7/14 on the Don Pasquale with an expected transit time of 18 days to New Jersey (7/31). I had "at the port" status until 7/19 though so looks like that was just slow to update. If anyone has any questions let me know!

Hey! We are on the same boat.

Something we could use clarification on is that BMW tells us that the boat is due into the port NY on July 31 however the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website says that the ship is due into port NY on August 7.

Which one do you suppose is correct?

There are 2 options in the 2024 Pricing Guide, $600 upcharge for your 440i. I got the 860M's because I love the way they look.

EDIT: Just realized you have a Coupe, not a Gran Coupe, perhaps that's why.

I went with all black Rim and apparently that was the only option I could select online. I already purchased non run flat tires Performance tires

Congrats! A couple of years ago, my car was sitting in the dealership after being trucked in from the port. They needed to do their post-delivery process and were planning to do delivery to me in a couple of days. I couldn't resist though, I went to the dealership, hunted around the big dark garage and found it to snap a couple of pics. My CA found me down there laughed and said what, you couldn't wait? None of his clients had done that before. I felt a bit embarrassed but after 4 months I was tired of waiting He was totally cool with it though, even though I was not supposed to down there hah
