Bumping this up. Sounds crazy im justcbuying winter tires now but Im taking delivery of my car on Monday and I dont want to drive with summer tires on.
I got quoted $1200 for either Blizzak LM25 or Dunlope WinterSport M3 ROF. Which one should I go for. I have tried Dunlops 3d and M3 but really curious about the Blizzaks. |

I priced it out on Tire Rack and it comes out to $187 USD per tire. Duties, shipping and taxes it comes out about the same. Where can you get it cheaper. I have 3D right now on my other car but need the RFT (cant carry spare) |

LM25 or Dunlop winter sport are great for occasional snow. But if you actually want to drive in snow, go for some Hakkapeliita Rs. Amazing winter tires, especially in deep snow. They make my old "performance snow tires" feel like slicks in the rain, and still quite decent on cold, dry pavement. Can't rave enough about them.
Subaru and Mitzu guys LOVE the Hakkas. |

Agreed. But he's in Toronto, you're in Alberta. I had Hakka's on my Audi, the car was unstoppable. But boy are they soft on cold dry, which is what we usually have here. Can't sacrifice that dry performance personally. |
