Climate Control is stating off but A/C is on?

I seem to have an issue/bug where I've turned the recirculation button on this morning which then turns the A/C on. I've subsquently gone into the A/C menu to turn the A/C off towards the end of my journey and it states that I don't have climate control turned on and therefore I can't turn the A/C off?

I've tried turning the car on and off etc, getting out locking it and then unlocking it and trying again but nothing seems to work.

Anyone got any ideas?

Press and hold the volume down button. The iDrive system will restart. This will probably fix your problem.
