Question F44 Ticking Sound

Hello all, first-time BMW owner here, so apologies in advance if there are nuances to the brand I may have missed out on.
Purchased an F44 a few weeks ago (it is 1.5 years old) and noticed that after a drive and turning off the engine, there is a mild, irregular (~every 1 or 2 secs) ticking sound coming from the rear undercarriage of the car. The sound goes away after a while.
There doesn't seem to be anything else amiss with the car which drives fine.
I've read that this may be due to the catalytic convertor of some models but can't find anymore information specific to the F44. Anyone have any insight on this issue and whether this might be something to get worried about?

Most likely exhaust system related or the heat shielding expanding / contracting. I’d not worry

Yeah, most likely something in the cooling system doing its thing. Nothing to worry about.

From the rear of the car? It's just the exhaust cooling down..
